By integrating the concept of effective capacity, we propose the resource allocation schemes for subcarrier‐pair based OFDM decode‐and‐forward and amplify‐and‐forward relay systems for quality‐of‐service (QoS) guarantees. The objective is to maximize the system throughput subject to a given statistical delay QoS constraint. First, we pair the subcarriers over the source‐relay channel and the relay‐destination channel by the descending order of the subcarriers' channel gains. Second, by making use of the derived equivalent end‐to‐end channel gains of the subcarrier pairs, we apply joint water‐filling power allocation over the subcarrier pairs and then partition the power of the subcarrier pairs between the source and the relay. We prove that as the equivalent end‐to‐end channel gains of the subcarrier pairs are given, the combination of sorted subcarrier pairing and joint water‐filling power allocation is jointly optimal to maximize the effective capacity. The simulation results show that our proposed schemes achieve the highest effective capacity for OFDM decode‐and‐forward and amplify‐and‐forward relay systems as compared with other existing schemes. The results also verify that our proposed schemes can efficiently provide different levels of delay QoS guarantees, even if under the stringent delay QoS constraints. In this paper, we propose a distributed cross‐layer resource allocation algorithm for wireless cooperative networks based on a network utility maximization framework. The algorithm provides solutions to relay selections, flow pass probabilities, transmit rate, and power levels jointly with optimal congestion control and power control through balancing link and physical layers such that the network‐wide utility is optimized. Via dual decomposition and subgradient method, we solve the utility‐optimal resource allocation problem by subproblems in different layers of the protocol stack. Furthermore, by introducing a concept of pseudochannel gain, we model both the primal direct logical link and its corresponding cooperative transmission link as a single virtual direct logical link to simplify our network utility framework. Eventually, the algorithm determines its primal resource allocation levels by employing reverse‐engineering of the pseudochannel gain model. Numerical experiments show that the convergence of the proposed algorithm can be obtained and the performance of the optimized network can be improved significantly. This paper studies a dual‐hop multiple‐access relay network where two independent source nodes transmit information to a common destination node with the aid of multiple single‐antenna amplify‐and‐forward relays. Each relay node is subject to an individual power constraint. We focus on the design of distributed beamforming schemes for the relays to support the transmission rate requirements of the two sources. To this end, we first characterize the achievable rate region for this network via solving a sequence of corner point optimization problems proposed in this paper. We also develop several low‐complexity suboptimal schemes in closed form. Two inner bounds of the achievable rate region are theoretically shown to be approximately optimal in two special scenarios. This paper considers noncoherent cooperative decode-and-forward (DF) half- duplex multi-branch relay systems. Each relay branch is modeled as a probabilistic transition system at the last hop, and thus it can be considered as a relaying chain comprising multi-hop relays. An approximation to the generalized maximum likelihood (ML) noncoherent block detection is derived for uncoded M-ary modulation in a faded noisy environment. In particular, the derived noncoherent block detection in a noiseless case is equivalent to a multichannel reception with full diversity. Furthermore, the generalized detection is extended specifically to block coded M-ary phase shift keying (MPSK) modulation. For a DF three node relay system using block coded quadrature phase shift keying (QPSK), simulation results are provided to examine the end-to-end error performance of the noncoherent detection with considering the effects of network geometry and power allocation, respectively. It is shown that under a fixed power allocation, a proper relay placement can yield near full diversity for large signal-to-noise ratio. 相似文献

The global navigation satellite system (GNSS) is currently being used extensively in the navigation system of vehicles. However, the GNSS signal will be faded or blocked in complex road environments, which will lead to a decrease in positioning accuracy. Owing to the higher-precision synchronization provided in the sixth generation (6G) network, the errors of ranging-based positioning technologies can be effectively reduced. At the same time, the use of terahertz in 6G allows excellent resolution of range and angle, which offers unique opportunities for multi-vehicle cooperative localization in a GNSS denied environment. This paper introduces a multi-vehicle cooperative localization method. In the proposed method, the location estimations of vehicles are derived by utilizing inertial measurement and then corrected by exchanging the beliefs with adjacent vehicles and roadside units. The multi-vehicle cooperative localization problem is represented using a factor graph. An iterative algorithm based on belief propagation is applied to perform the inference over the factor graph. The results demonstrate that our proposed method can offer a considerable capability enhancement on localization accuracy. 相似文献
